Here’s my sweet girl, Maggie. She’s a rescue pup from the #detroitzoo adopt your best friend event four years ago. She makes me smile every time I see her. One of her litter mates goes to our same vet office and they had a dna test done to determine breed and the office told us. She’s lab, shepherd, golden retriever and Australian cattle dog. In other words…the best kind of dog!

Joinery is all cut and now things are getting glued up. I feel bad because just outside my shop my dog Maggie is getting a bath and nail trim in the mobile dog groomer’s van. She’s a black lab mix rescue dog and today is #nationalblackdogday.

I needed a second tool chest for my machine workshop and I’ve got too much else to do right now to build another. This is nowhere near as nice as the Anarchist tool chest I built a few years back but it’s better than nothing. I wish it were smaller, but for $50 I can complain too much…
In my 600sqft shop it’s all about keeping things well organized and clean. Otherwise my large machinery surfaces get cluttered quickly!

I’m finally working on one of the benches for my workshop. I got the four beech legs glued up and the double tenons cut. Hopefully I will be able to get started on the top next week.
