The desk is made to disassemble into smaller component parts to make moving easier. The top features threaded inserts which allow it to be easily removed, the frame breaks down into three parts and the case can be broken down into three parts.

The desktop attaches to the frame by means of slotted buttons which allow the wood top to expand and contract throughout the seasons. Without this attention to detail, the top would almost certainly crack over time.

The desk features full extension dovetailed drawers with inset fronts, inset doors, shop cut solid wood edgebanding, mortise and tenon construction throughout, Blum undermount slides, Blum soft close hinges and floor levelers.
